HISTORY (1997 - 2005)

WNA (wrestling.net.au) launched on Monday October 14th, 2002 taking over from wwfdownunder.com

wwfdownunder.com was formed in April 1997 providing Wrestling fans around Australia with information focusing on the WWF and Wrestling down under. The site allowed for Wrestling fans to interact and share information, plus reported on all the latest Australian WWF news.

The WWFDU website contained a discussion board and chat rooms for fans to interact, daily news, articles and reports covering all the latest headlines. wwfdownunder also had a merchandise section focusing on what WWF merchandise is available in Australia and where to get it from.

"Fox Sports is proud to say we support "WWF Down Under" and its staff. This site is the hottest website around and we enjoy "surfing on in" to check out what's happening. Keep up the good work fellas" - Fox Sports (2000)

An online events calendar and television listings allowed for fans to find out when all the shows are on cable and free-to-air TV. Plus a campaign helped get more WWF programming and eventually a tour to Australia in 2002.
